Kheerganga Trek: The Himalayan Hot Springs

The trek to Kheerganga is a renowned trail leading to a meadow at 9,700 feet, famous for its natural hot springs and panoramic views.

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. It is suitable for beginners with a basic fitness level.
Starting Point: Barshaini village (22 km from Kasol). A local bus or taxi can get you there in about an hour.
Distance and Duration: The trek is approximately 12–13 km one way and takes 4–6 hours to complete.
The Reward: The highlight is the Parvati Kund, a natural hot spring where you can relax after the strenuous hike, surrounded by snow-capped peaks (weather permitting).

Important Considerations and Updates (2025)

Camping Ban: The Forest Department has banned overnight camping at Kheerganga to preserve the environment. You must now plan for a day trek or stay in a nearby village like Kalga or Nakthan.

Best Time to Visit: April to June (pleasant weather) or September to November (clear skies). Avoid the monsoon season due to slippery trails.

Essentials: Pack good trekking shoes, rain gear, warm layers, a power bank, and cash (ATMs are only available in Kasol).

Confirmation Policy 

• The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking

• In case the preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule of the customer’s preference will be
arranged and a new confirmation voucher will be sent via email.

• Alternatively, the customer may choose to cancel their booking before confirmation and a full refund will
be processed. 

Cancellation Policy 

• If cancellation is made 30 days before the date of travel, then 25.0% of total tour cost will be charged as
cancellation fees

• If cancellation is made 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel, then 50.0% of total tour cost will be
charged as cancellation fees

• If cancellation is made 0 days to 15 days before the date of travel, then 100.0% of total tour cost will be
charged as cancellation fees.

Refund Policy

• The applicable refund amount will be processed within 10 business days.

• All applicable refunds will be done in the traveler's account Only.
